Post subject: Linkserver, MSDASQL and Null Values
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>programming (more info?)

I am trying to use a link server to get a resultset back from a Remedy base
system through ODBC with MSDASQL Driver. however I keep getting this error

An unexpected NULL value was returned for column "[MSDASQL].<columnname>"
from OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "<linkserver>". This column
cannot be NULL.

Now I know I can filter them out but I know I can get that column back with
a null value, is there anyway to tell MSDASQL driver to just pass everything
it gets back with out trying to applie rules on it.
